We stayed at the Granada Center Hotel for 2 nights which was right on the edge of the old city center and a quick walk to notable sites. It was easy to park a car and leave it there while you visit Granada. The hotel was more of a modern business style room. Not too much character. But it was clean and comfortable and seemed like a good deal for 143 euros.
We were pretty much here in Granada to check out Alhambra, Generalife and Albayzín, and on a tight schedule. We were lucky to have been able to book our visit and get tickets to see Alhambra on a whim. I highly recommend buying your tickets to enter Alhambra and Generalife well in advance. We did not and almost missed out. In one day we did our tour, and then took a bus up to near Saint Nicholas church in Albayzín and watched the sunset colours glow on Alhambra. What a great experience morning to evening.
We also took some time to explore the Cathedral of Granada and also the Monastery of San Jerónimo de Granada.
So lets take a look at some photos of our time in Granada. We happened to be there during the holiday Fiesta de las Cruces on May 3rd.
