Ronda is located about 100km West of Malaga. But we drove through the backroads from Tarifa Spain having skipped Malaga entirely on our trip.
The scene in Ronda is dramatic. This town is perched high above the El Tajo Gorge. The views are spectacular. Take in the beautiful scenery of the surrounding countryside and mountains to the West. Watch the sun set.
Construction of the Puente Nuevo began in 1751 and was completed in 1793. It is the tallest of 3 bridges in Ronda (there is also the Puente Viejo and Puente Romano) and stands 120m above the canyon floor.
